Joe Biden made his first official visit to Canada as US President last week. The two countries' leaders issued a joint statement reaffirming their commitment to harnessing clean energy and creating good jobs, strengthening semiconductor supply chains, protecting their shared waters and Arctic ecosystem, and strengthening global alliances such as NATO, the United Nations and the G20.
On Thursday, the Ontario provincial government unveiled its 2023 budget, Building a Strong Ontario, with a record $204 billion in spending in Ontario history. At the end of this month, the Ontario government will end a program that provides health care services to the uninsured, which doctors say is extremely dangerous for marginalized populations.
